The two hotels are designed as two separate entities, but with a clear relationship.
The western volume, Trinity, is the higher of the two hotels. It is a striking three-tiered volume of nine storeys with a pronounced grid facade on all sides. The deep daylight edges and the relief in the detailing accentuate the rigid grid structure. The changing positions of the windows on each floor bring about a lively appearance of the façade. Trinity comprises 208 hotel rooms on the upper floors, while the ground floor will be completely filled with supporting functions, including a restaurant that will also serve hot meals.

The eastern volume, U-flats, is an aparthotel with 160 rooms for short and medium term use. Each hotel room has a kitchenette, enabling hotel guests to provide for their own meals. Additional functions to facilitate longer stays include a gym and a guest laundry, where hotel guests can do their own laundry.

In contrast to the verticality of Trinity, the façade of the seven-storey U-flats is characterised by horizontal lines in dark, accentuated borders. Between the edges, the façade is alternately filled with glazing and concrete façade panels. The relief in the façade panels gives the impression of an elegantly draped voile, which in combination with the chosen colour combinations gives the building a warm appearance.
