Located at the corner of Papineau and Saint-Grégoire on the Plateau Mont-Royal, Le petit Laurier is a multi-residential project on a human scale, and has been occupied since October 2021. The concierge-style layout with interior courtyard ensures that all residential units benefit from through-glass windows. A continuous outdoor courtyard borders all the units. Combining functionality and aesthetics, this circulation and gathering area offers tenants an ideal place for socializing. The project's lack of a basement has encouraged the development of a green heart with real growth potential. Over time, this green center will become both a filter of intimacy and a meeting place for residents.

The topography of the site, sloping towards the alley, enabled the development of a 3-storey volume on the street and a 4-storey volume in the alley. The inclined planes, integrated into the architectural proposal, then favored the installation of housing for people with reduced mobility in one of the wings of the project. The belt of vegetation, adjoining the inclined plane, acts as a linear and continuous bench to program this place of undeniable qualities.

The outdoor space as a whole, then communal, becomes conducive to the development of a fraternity between the 31 families who live there.
Le Petit Laurier was awarded Silver certification for real estate development at the 14th edition of the Grands Prix du Design, as well as Platinum certification for multi-family dwellings of 4 storeys or less at the 16th edition of the gala.
