In 2010, initial plans were made for the joint realization of three Kempian homes on the Schoutenburg estate in Kesteren. Here the image quality plan called for the buildings to be positioned so that together the cluster feels “like a chain in the landscape. And with the realization of the last Kempian house, this beautiful piece of architecture is finally completed!

In the spring of 2021 we started designing this last house of the cluster. Due to the unique wishes of the clients, this house was again a nice challenge in itself!

The home is again very different in volume from the other homes and from that perspective is really an addition compared to the first two homes. In addition, the arched entrance area is the eye-catcher of the house that becomes immediately visible when entering the yard. The panoramic views of the farmlands also demanded an optimal orientation of the facade openings. Also striking is the semi-sunken basement, which flows seamlessly into the plinth of the house via a stuccoed slope.

From each interior space, the client now enjoys a different unique view of the garden and surroundings!
