The new fire station in Zeeland (NB) was recently opened at the Voederheil business park. The building will also house various services from the regional fire department such as maintenance, logistics, breathing air workshop, training and office spaces.

The building will be located on the Voederheil and consists of a fire station as well as offices. The new station will be the home base for the volunteer firefighters of the Zeeland Fire Station. The building will also serve as a regional office location with 40-50 workstations for employees of Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Noord.

The new building on the Voederheil has a floor area of approximately 3,500 m² distributed over two floors and a large outdoor area. Attention to human welfare, energy savings and circular construction are important aspects and are reflected in the design and its elaboration. Keywords are sustainable and healthy. The new location will be a place where people can meet, network and collaborate.

The metal facade consists of a varied profile, type Eclectic 7.35.50B, which has a height of 50mm. In combination with an Authentic 35úm coating in the color Pyrite (5986), this gives a very playful effect.
