Urban context Village im Dritten (Village in the third district) is a newly developed quarter between Landstraßer Gürtel and Otto-Preminger-Straße in the north-east, with a park for everyone in the middle. The Gürtelbogen, a two-storey commercial building, shields the residential complex behind it from the heavily frequented Gürtel. The guiding idea of “climate-resilient district development” focuses on parks, façade greening, roof gardens and percolating pavements, but also on social sustainability. The intervention concerns the renovation of an historical building dating back to the early '900 and subjected to protection.The need to adapt the building to new needs led to the complete renovation of the interior spaces and the construction of a new volume located on the north-east front. The project has safeguarded the historical image of the building but proposes innovative elements both from the technological and the aesthetic point of view: the structure has been consolidated and adapted from the seismic point of view and the spaces now guarantee every kind of comfort to the users.Outside, the new volume relates to the original building without prevailing, but in a continuous dialogue. In connection with the renovation of homes at Løvvangen, three new community buildings were built – a natural meeting place for residents for meetings, games and other community activities.The buildings differ from the surrounding buildings, with a clean and architectural design. The façades are an interplay between grey and black wooden cladding and orange STENI Colour panels. Wood is a slightly unusual material for this type of building, but creates a great contrast to the sleek, smooth panels and brick façade of the surrounding residential buildings. Más

In Sandefjord, carpenter Dag Olsen and his colleagues at Bygg og Maskin AS are busy mounting STENI façade panels on the new ice rink at the Bugårdsparken recreation centre. He estimates that two people can install around 70 square metres of façade panels each day.“I think this is the fastest way to install a façade. The panels are pre-drilled, so once we get them screwed in place, the wall is basically finished,” says Olsen. “This project uses a combination of STENI Nature, STENI Colour and STENI Vision. The MAMA Architecture and Engineering study worked on the renovation and expansion project of a private residence from the beginning of the 20th century, located near the walls to the north of the old town of Treviso. The team of architects designed the timely renovation of the main building's external walls, while the interior part was completely redesigned, from the foundations to the roof, with a modern touch. After a long period of decline and minimal maintenance, the board of the Solheimslien housing cooperative in Bergen decided that it was time to completely renovate the buildings. Even with a limited budget, the housing cooperative was transformed into an aesthetic gem that gives a boost to the city.The Solheimslien housing cooperative was built in 1966 in the Årstad district of Bergen.
