The project is divided into two distinct volumes, each with its own unique materiality. The first volume, clad in clay-red brick, is inspired by the typology characteristic of the neighborhood. The second volume is clad in clear anodized aluminum, which, with its reflectivity and luminous hue, captures the variations in color and light as the days and seasons go by. This metallic volume, set against the background of the two heritage houses integrated into the residential project, rests on a brick base that establishes a strong visual link with the first volumes.

A vertically-expressed volume, animated by loggias, establishes a striking presence at the corner of the streets, while the aluminium volume, set back, is punctuated by a series of staggered balconies that energize each floor. The brick basilaire, highlighted at its end by a two-storey glazed lobby framed by a structural colonnade, opens onto Rue Laurier and announces the main entrance. The center of the plinth is pierced by a porte cochère leading to a secondary entrance, while loggias and entrances punctuate the plinth, revealing its structural framework and accommodating the street-facing apartments. To the north, the plinth extends to create a terrace on the third floor.

The main building, named Éléonore in homage to the founder of the neighboring monastery on Rue Laurier, stands out for its harmonious integration into the landscape designed by Studio B. The latter ensures visual and functional coherence between the new construction and the heritage houses restored and repurposed as part of this residential development. The project is being carried out in consortium with MDTP Atelier d'architecture Inc.
