The ARG house is located on a plot with a steep slope, bordered on three sides by a protected green area featuring a typical Mediterranean forest landscape dominated by pines and oaks. Located in the town of Jávea (Alicante), on the Costa Blanca. The project is conceived with respect for the environment in which it is situated. The topography and views from the plot are fundamental for the design and implementation of the house.

The two overlapping concrete volumes that make up the house rest on a stone base that adapts to the steep slope of the hillside. The upper level, where the living area is located, rises above the treetops like a large viewpoint that offers views of the sea, the mountains, and the beautiful town of Jávea. Access is made from the lowest part of the plot through a gantry integrated into the terrain. The house is situated at the highest point, isolated and surrounded by native vegetation, creating its own universe.

Both the exterior and interior use natural colors and materials such as concrete, stone, and wood, which reinforce the landscape integration and harmony with the environment. A reference in the field of architecture on the Costa Blanca, Pepe Giner Arquitectos combines, in this work, tradition and modernity to create a space that not only reflects the unique environment of La Marina, but also projects an avant-garde vision of the future. This value proposition is articulated around the fundamental pillars of the studio: roots in the territory, adaptability
to the environment, and an architectural style that mixes materiality and avant-garde.

Based in Benissa, Pepe Giner's architecture studio is deeply rooted in the Costa Blanca and is considered an essential in local architecture thanks to its detailed knowledge of the landscape and the needs of the community. Giner's projects integrate naturally into their environment, whether in mountain or coastal landscapes, always respecting the orography and natural views with a modern and sustainable architectural vision.
