Mirage
Mirage stood at the entrance to the AFROBANANA Festival in Lefkara like a portal beckoning visitors to step beyond the everyday. At first glance, it appeared as a sleek, hexagonal corridor of mirrored surfaces, the angles carefully chosen to produce a disorienting yet captivating interplay of reflections. By night, battery-powered stage lights illuminated the panels from the outside, casting shifting patterns of light that intensified the illusion. Despite its otherworldly appearance, the installation was surprisingly straightforward in its construction: aluminum composite panels with a mirror finish were folded to create nearly seamless joints, supported by scaffolding that allowed for quick assembly without wasting material. Located in the heart of Città Studi, this apartment originally had an unfavorable floor plan, consisting of an entrance leading into a long, dark corridor. The project aims to transform this unappealing space into a true promenade with outstanding architectural quality. The insertion of a long barrel vault defines the corridor’s width, creating a path with strong geometric character that not only emphasizes the linearity of the corridor but also guides the visitor towards the living area, which is revealed as a surprise at the end of the path.

The predecessor of 1906 Young Town Technology Plaza was Guangzhou Cigarette Erchang, which dates back to 1949 when Guangzhou Manufacturing Plant of Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company was founded by patriotic overseas Chinese industrialist brothers surnamed Jian. The factory produced brands such as "Double Happiness", "White Golden Dragon", "Bank", "Golden Dragon", "Seven Stars" and "Hundred Birds", which were the six famous brands of cigarettes in Guangzhou at that time.

The cave houses in Kea island, develop on a picturesque hill, overlooking the bay of Vourkari. The architectural design of the kea island villas, integrates the structures in the unique natural environment. Built into the slopes, these cave houses follow the contours of the natural terrain. Their volumes, develop in the ground, seamlessly blending in the characteristic Cycladic landscape. This integration ends up in continuous, arched facades that open to the Aegean Sea, offering unobstructed, breathtaking views.
