The project was designed to expand the apartment's social space by joining the living room and kitchen, creating a visually connected space by demolishing the second bedroom. The kitchen is established through a large central volume surrounded by a freijó cabinet, which hides the entrance to the laundry area and toilet. 

The original taco flooring was revealed and recovered; beams and pillars were stripped and pipes that could not be moved were exposed so as not to impede the visual connection of the new layout. Other details that emerged during the demolition were kept, such as the peeling wall in the bedroom, the flaking paint on the entrance door and the original ceramic tiles at the back of the kitchen.
